He is a certified Evaluator and Instructor with the American Kennel Club (AKC) and serves as a National Tester/Observer for the Alliance of Therapy Dogs, ensuring high standards in therapy dog teams across the country. As a member of the International Association of Assistance Dog Partners, Ira holds multiple certifications, including CPDT, CMDH, CDDH, and CEDD, demonstrating his deep commitment to excellence in canine behavior and development. His background also includes service with the United States Armed Forces (USAF), and he is a Certified Flight Instructor (CFI), Advanced Ground Instructor (AGI), and Safety Representative with the FAA—underscoring a lifelong dedication to precision, discipline, and public safety.
